Claude Plugins: Quick Guide

Plugins add new skills to Claude. You install a plugin once, and then you can use it in any chat.

Requirement: a paid plan (Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise).

How to install a plugin

• Open Claude and click Customize in the left sidebar.
• Go to Plugins, then Discover.
• Choose a plugin and click Add.
• If it asks you to connect an account (for example Canva), sign in.

Note: on a Team or Enterprise plan, your admin may limit which plugins you can add.

How to use a plugin

• In any chat, type / or click + to see the skills from your plugins.
• Select one, or type it directly, for example /data:build-dashboard.
• You can also ask in plain language. Claude picks the right skill on its own.
• If the task needs a file, such as a CSV or a PDF, attach it first.

PDF Viewer

Opens PDFs inside Claude so you can fill them in, mark them up and sign them.

Creates and edits Canva designs from a short description. Requires a Canva account.
